ANNUAL Wiener Roast
Will be: Sunday, 09/15/19. We will meet by the Como Park Fire rings on como Ave. (formerly Horton) between Hamline & Lexington Pkwy. on the South End of como Park.
The Hike will begin at 2:30 P.M. followed by the Wiener Roast. The menu will be hot dogs, various things and s'mores for dessert. Cost to follow. Contact Barb Fitzpatrick, 651-645-7149 for more information.
THOSE WHO SIGNED UP TO GO TO THE CLEARWATER OUTING AUG. 23-25
It's a Clearwater Forest Camp & Retreat Center, 16595 Crooked Lake Rd., Deerwood, MN (if you've never been there!) a summer camp & wellness retreat center on over 1,000 acres of land on Clearwater Lake in northern Minnesota.
Attendees will stay in the modern Learning tree Lodge, enjoy campfires on the lakeshore, short, rugged hikes, and share meal preparation. Bring your own sheets, towels, pillows. Swimming, paddleboats, canoes, kayaks are available.
Directions from the cities: Take #94 West to exit #207, North on US #169 to Garrison, then MN #18 West to MN #6 and turn onto Clearwater Camp Rd. About a 2-hour drive.
