Witching the SPHC a very happy Halloween!

 

Sunday hikes start at 2:30 pm, go approx. 5 miles, last 1 1⁄2 – 2 hrs.

Tuesday hikes start at 07:00 pm, go approx. 3 miles, last about 1 hour.

The SPHC walks at a moderate speed of 2.5 -3.5 mph. (17-24 min. mile)

Hikers are expected to maintain that pace. Hikes start on time.

There have been 31 Sunday hikes and 31 Tuesday hikes.

Average Sunday hike had 19.8 people, average Tuesday hike had 17.5.

9 hikes have started in Zip Code 55109, which was more than 55042 and 55119 at 5 each.

Patty Peterson’s hike from Flicek Park on August 18 passed by or around 5 lakes.

They are Gervis, Spoon, Keller, Round and Phalen.

which makes them low in calories.

Pumpkins are packed with antioxidants to scare bad things away!

 

 

​​​Pumpkin is a great source of beta carotene, which gives it its orange color.

Beta carotene turns into vitamin A, which is great for eye and skin health

and supports your immune system.
