SUNDAY hikes start at 2:30 P.M. go approx. 5 miles, and last approx. 1 ½ to 2 Hours. TUESDAY hikes start at 7:00 P.M. NEW START TIME!!!,   go approx. 3 miles, and last approx. 1 hour.



If you haven’t sent in your dues yet, better get them in by May 1st or you will NOT receive any form of the Trailblazer for June! We have a lot of maintenance to do! The membership rate is: $15.00/year for the paper copy of the Trailblazer. It’s $7.00/year when you receive the Trailblazer by email. Will be held Monday, June 3, 2019, at the Sun Ray Library, 2105 Wilson Ave, in St. Paul at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.



 The dates for the 2019 Clearwater Forest Weekend in beautiful Deerwood, MN are: August 23-25. The cost of $85.00/person includes 5 meals. We need at LEAST 20 people for it to be a go. The Lodge can

handle up to 32 people! The deadline for money is: May 20, 2019.  Make checks payable to: the St. Paul Hiking Club and mail to: Vivian Fickling, 2254 Jennifer Ln., N St. Paul, MN 55109. Participants in the

weekend will be asked to help prepare one meal coordinated by: Carol Isaak. Bring your own sheets and towels. Contact Viv Fickling, 651-777-6103 for more information.

Lesson to be learned from one hike. Don’t loop too close back to the starting point of your hike, (especially if you’re by a brewery!) or you’ll lose a lot of people!


If the leader has a co-leader to finish the hike, follow the co-leader!
