Happy Birthday America​

 

Sunday hikes start at 2:30 pm, go approx. 5 miles, last 1 1⁄2 – 2 hrs.

Tuesday hikes start at 07:00 pm, go approx. 3 miles, last about 1 hour.

The SPHC walks at a moderate speed of 2.5 -3.5 mph. (17-24 min. mile)

Hikers are expected to maintain that pace. Hikes start on time. 

Watermelon has so many health benefits, Starting with hydration. It's 92% water, and since

food provides about 20% of your fluid intake, eating water-packed snacks like watermelon can

help you avoid subtle, headache-spurring dehydration.

ANNUAL POTLUCK PICNIC...will be held Sunday, July 12th 1:00 PM at Keller Regional Park Shelter #3. The shelter is just north of Roselawn off Hwy 61. From Hwy 36 go South on 61 to the 3rd (last) driveway on the West side of the highway and left to the shelter. Bring food to share. Paper plates, napkins and utensils will be provided. BYOD. Picnic begins at 1pm, 3 mile hike to follow at 2:30. Contact: Terese: 651.261.2123.
