SUNDAY hikes start at 2:30 p.m., go approx. 5 miles and last approx. 1 ½ to 2 hours.
TUESDAY hikes start at 07:00 p.m., go approx. 3 miles, and last approx. 1 hour.
The SPHC walks at a moderate speed; 17-24 minute mile.
Hikers are expected to maintain that pace.

Meeting Location: Meet at Forest Lake Transit Center (aka Hardwood Creek Trailhead), 19955 Forest Rd, Forest Lake.
Directions: The Hardwood Creek Trail is part of the trail system which will take you from Hugo to North Branch.
Hike Description: Out and back hike on paved trail.

Directions: South of E 46th St and North of E 50th St.
Hike Description: The hike will be on sidewalks and trails along Minnehaha Creek & Pkwy to Lake Nokomis & around Hiawatha Golf course.

Directions: Go north from 694 on Century and turn right at light on Long Lake Rd. and left at Lincolntown Ave.
Hike Description: We will hike mostly gravel, some off road and paved trails through the park.

Directions: Go S on Hwy 61 to 21st St., turn left & another left into the parking lot. (add'l parking on 21st. St.)
Hike Description: We'll hike paved trails along the river & some hills, including views of the falls & walk down to Old Mill Park.

Meeting Location: Meet in the Park-n-Ride lot 432 Pt Douglas Rd S., St Paul
Directions: West on Lower Afton Rd and just before Hwy 61, turn left on Pt Douglas Rd: Or From Hwy 61, go east on Lower Afton Rd, take the first Right on Pt Douglas Rd.
Hike Description: This is a repeat of the 3-mile Centennial hike. One long, steep hill to climb.

Meeting Location: Whitetail Woods Regional Park Main Trailhead - 17100 Station Trail, Farmington MN
Directions: Highway 52 south exit on Highway 46 and head west 4.6 miles. Turn left on Biscayne Avenue for 1 mile, then left on 170th St W for 1 mile, then turn right onto Station Trail turn right into park.
Hike Description: Lots of rolling hills on this hike. We will hike the paved path around Empire Lake, and also the natural trails through woods and prairie.

Meeting Location: Meet at Schaar’s Bluff Gathering Center in the Spring lake Park Reserve in Nininger Township. 8395 127th St E, Hastings. [Latitude 44.766 N, longitude 92.936 W.
Directions: From Hwy 52 in Rosemount take Hwy 55 and follow 4.6 miles towards Hastings. Turn left on County 42 ( Mississippi Trail ) and follow it to Idell Ave. Turn left and then again left as it becomes 127 St E. Turn right under the Schaar’s Bluff sign. Turn left to the lot for the Gathering Center.
Hike Description: Hike is on a paved trail with hills and bridges overlooking Spring Lake which is a wide spot of the Mississippi River.
Treats: R + R’s car.
