SUNDAY hikes start at 2:30 PM, go approx. 5 miles and last approx. 1 ½ to 2 hours.
TUESDAY hikes start at 07:00 PM, go approx. 3 miles, and last approx. 1 hour.
The SPHC walks at a moderate speed of 2.5 - 3.5 mph.
Hikers are expected to maintain that pace. (17-24 min. mile)

Directions: From Hwy 61, turn East onto Hwy 96 (Lake Ave) to the park entrance.

Directions: Exit 494 at Valley Creek go west to Weir Dr.
Hike Description: We will hike on paved trails down to Battle Creek Lake & back going through 5 different parks in the Park Hills neighborhood in Woodbury.

Meeting Location: Meet at Tamarack Nature Center, 5287 Otter Lake Rd., White Bear Lake.
Directions: Go I-35 N, exit on Hwy 96, go East and continue until you reach Otter Lake Rd., turn North onto Otter Lake Rd. Go 2.5 miles to Tamarack Nature Center on the left side of the road.
Hike Description: We will hike Wide trails, some hills, long boardwalk.
Treats: Lee’s trunk.

Meeting Location: SPHC’s ANNUAL WIENER ROAST. Meet at the Como Park Fire Rings on Como Ave.
Directions: Between Hamline & Lexington Pkwy., on the south end of Como Park
Hike Description: 3 mile hike will start at 2:30 pm on paved paths around Como Lake and park gardens.
Treats: Picnic after hike. ($5. payable at the picnic) Bring your own drinks and lawn chairs.

Directions: Go south on McKnight to Lower Afton Rd, then go left approx 1/4 mile to the parking lot on the left.
Hike Description: The hike is on paved and natural surfaces with some hills.
Treats: Jane’s car.
