SUNDAY hikes start at 2:30 p.m., go approx. 5 miles and last approx. 1 ½ to 2 hours.
TUESDAY hikes start at 07:00 p.m., go approx. 3 miles, and last approx. 1 hour.
The SPHC walks at a moderate speed of 2.5 - 3.5 mph. Hikers are expected to maintain that pace. (17-24 min. mile) Hikes start on time.

Meeting Location: Meet at the American Legion parking lot, 50 Sibley St., downtown Hastings.
Directions: From Hwy 61 after the Hastings bridge take right on Vermillion St and right on 2nd St E to Sibley St. If the parking lot is full there is add'l parking lot on 4th Street.
Hike Description: We will hike along the Mississippi river front on paved trails and across a peninsula. This is the trail that is used to go to Spring Lake Park Reserve.

Meeting Location: Meet at Hidden Falls Regional Park picnic grounds parking lot at 1313 Hidden Falls Dr. in St. Paul.
Directions: The Hidden Falls Regional Park - North Gate is just south of the Ford Bridge off Mississippi River Blvd. S.
Hike Description: This hike will have an educational component and will be 30 minutes longer than usual. We will be joined by a member of Friends of the Mississippi River (Colleen Toberman) who will lead us through wooded paths to a little known toxic waste dump on the banks of the river. She will provide history of the site and current options being discussed for cleanup. Hike will primarily be wooded paths with hills.

Directions: Corner of Larpenteur & Mackubin, east of Dale St.
Hike Description: We will hike paved and unpaved trails with some nice steep hills.

Meeting Location: Meet at Lynnhurst Park at 1500 West 50th Street, in Minneapolis.
Directions: Take Hwy 36 to I 35W and exit towards the south. Continue south to exit at 46th Street W exit and turn right (west) on 46th Street W. Continue west to Dupont Ave S then turn left (south) on Dupont Ave S. Continue south to 50th Street W and then turn right (west) onto 50th Street W., 4 blocks up, just west of Minnehaha Pkwy the Parking lot is on the north side.
Hike Description: We will hike up to Lake Harriet along Minnehaha Parkway then around Lake Harriet.

Directions: Take Hwy 61 N to 130th St N, turn left, go. .4 miles. Turn right on Europa Trail N. Changes to Europa Ct N., go .3 miles, changes again to Fable Hill Pkwy N .1 mile, changes again to Fable Hill Way N., go .2 miles. Turn right onto Fable Rd N, go .2 miles, house is on the right.
Hike Description: Walk from Hugo through Lino Lakes Trails. Hills out of and back into my development.

Meeting Location: Meet at Wildwood Elementary School 55115, 8698 75th St N, Stillwater, MN 55082. School is in Grant next to Mahtomedi not in Stillwater.
Directions: From Hwy 36 take Hilton Trail north to stop light, take right on Stillwater Rd / 75th St N and go past the next stop light and take the next left, school is to the right.
Hike Description: We’ll hike gate way trail and go around Sunnybrook Lake and back.

Hike Description: We will hike Oakdale Nature Preserve trails and the surrounding area.
