Sunday hikes start at 2:30 pm, go approx. 5 miles, last 1 1⁄2 – 2 hrs.
Tuesday hikes start at 07:00 pm, go approx. 3 miles, last about 1 hour.
The SPHC walks at a moderate speed of 2.5 -3.5 mph. (17-24 min. mile)
Hikers are expected to maintain that pace. Hikes start on time.

World Environment Day 2025: Celebrated on June 5th encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment. Clean up your neighborhood, plant a tree. Make our planet greener and cleaner. Plogging (picking up litter) on June 7th hike optional.
In June, Minnesota hosts abundant summer residents like bright Warblers,
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Indigo Buntings, and Eastern Bluebirds,
alongside Sparrows, with rare sightings like a migrating Whooping Crane.
The SPHC has had 54 members that have hiked through April. This is their mileage.
